I met Hopi / Dińe basket weaver Iva Casuse Honwynum at the @arizonastatemuseum for the basket weaver showcase celebrating the publication of Woven from the Center: Native Basketry in the Southwest by Dianne Dittemore. Iva showed me her monumental basket and explained the symbolism and the work that went into it.
